 The Missouri country singer beat out Jordan McCullough and Keyla Richardson in a three-hour live finale on ABC.

All three finalists performed Alicia Keys songs, mentored by Keys herself, who also performed "Fallin'" with special guest Raye.

Celebrity guests included Clay Aiken (returning after 20+ years), Carrie Underwood performing with Mötley Crüe, and Brad Paisley, among others.

Harper had been a frontrunner all season, with judge Carrie Underwood calling her one of her favorites after her audition of "String Cheese," an original song about postpartum depression.

Keyla Richardson was eliminated mid-show before voting continued between Harper and McCullough for the top prize.
